When you see something along the lines of "Free Pay Per Head" or "PPH Sportsbook With No-Fee Online Payments" and the site in question goes on to explain that it is actually offering a FREE service, run, don't walk.

Pay per head services like our long time friends at PricePerPlayer do offer the Free Pay Per Head, but that's only courtesy of a free PPH trial of two weeks.  The point of doing this is to get you acquainted with the platform as well as all the features such as reporting, odds, betting options and the like.

Beyond the two week trial period, PricePerPlayer clearly lays out the pricing structure as follows and based on the number of players:

# of Active PlayersPrice Per Player

0-99 Players $5.00 Per Player

100 to 199 Players $4.50 Per Player

200 to 299 Players $4.00 Per Player

300 to 499 Players $3.50 Per Player

500 to 699 Players $3.00 Per Player

700 to 999 Players $2.50 Per Player

1,000 + Players $2.00 Per Player

In other words, the more players you have, the less money you are paying to the PPH company.

If you're unfamiliar with how the pay per head business model works, it can be assumed you're coming in with the low 0-99 number of players. Say a bookie has 50 players betting with him or her.  That bookie will be charged $5 per player per week or $250 per week.  It doesn't matter how much a particular customer wagers either.  We would note that PricePerPlayer only charges for active players.

Do NOT be confused with companies that offer a one-time price to use their software.  That's not what your customers want.  That's not what YOU want.  With this option, you're still expected to do most of the work.  That is NOT a pay per head solution.  It's like operating a McDonald's franchise without the food.  Customers walk in seeing the golden arches and will be asking "Where's the beef?"  We know, we know...that's a different fast food joint. But you get the idea. Having the store/restaurant means nothing if you don't have the supplies and employees to run it.

More About the PPH Demo

By comparing pay per head services during the two-week trial period, you will be able to see for yourself the advantages and disadvantages of using a specific Pay Per Head service.

For PricePerPlayer, all you have to do is answer 2 questions and start using the platform right away.

It's that simple!
