Qinwen is a Chinese professional tennis player. She has been ranked world No. 4 by the WTA, achieved in June 2025, and is only the second Chinese player to reach the top 5 in women's singles after Li Na.
Zheng won 7-5, 6-3 over Iga Swiatek in the fourth round of the US Open on Monday.
She delivered a surprising comeback for the second match in a row as she rallied from 5-0 down in the opening set, claiming seven-straight games to secure the set and eventually the match over the No. 8 seed from Poland. Zheng is through to the quarterfinals in New York for the third time.
Rybakina is a Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player. She is currently ranked world No. 2 in women's singles by the Women's Tennis Association.
Rybakina won 6-1, 6-4 over Naomi Osaka in the fourth round of the US Open on Monday.
