Quincy Borland Wins WSOP $1,000 Million Dollar Bounty: Hellmuth Arrives as Darth Vader
Quincy Borland has won Event #68: $1,000 Million Dollar Bounty, taking home a cool $750,120 in the process.
No small feat. Four Day 1 flights across three days drew a massive field of 14,112 players.
Plenty of other amazing stories came from the event, one being two brothers, Caio De Almeida and Daniel De Almeida, who made the final three tables together. Though Caio busted 23rd for $31,200, Daniel finished eighth for $96,940.
Not Bad Mike
While he's yet to win a tournament this World Series of Poker, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow has cashed in seven so far. This includes a tenth place finish in the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em - Flip & Go Presented by GG Poker (Event #24) and a cool $ 17,010. He's profited around $60,000 minus any buy-ins.
Matusow also had some fun at Phil Hellmuth's expense. The WSOP bracelet record holder announced he would be making his grand entrance as Darth Vader.
