Professional sports bettor Gadoon “Spanky” Kyrollos spoke out Tuesday against sportsbooks offering refunds after Jets quarterback (for less than 10 minutes) Aaron Rodgers suffered a season ending injury Monday night.

"Let me settle the debate…If you are a sports bettor expecting a refund on an injured player, not only are you the scum of the earth, you are a worthless entitled jackass who needs to get slapped around and learn how to become a responsible adult."

Darren Rovell of the Action Network reports that, while most of the US regulated sports caved, some did not.  FanDuel, PointsBet and Vegas books have thus far stood strong and refused to issue refunds.  None of the offshore sportsbooks we are aware of have issued refunds either.

Gamblers mostly seemed to be on the side of FanDuel and Co.

Chad Bleznick tweeted:

"Clearly any Rodgers bets should count he played in the game."

Paul Stone wrote:

"Players have legitimate grievances against books in some cases, but expecting to have a bet voided that clearly constituted “action” isn’t among them. I’d prefer fair pricing and clearly stated limits/rules over these types of emotional ploys any day of the week."
