Seahawks @ Giants MNF

Seattle had crossed the $100,000 threshold with all that money won by gamblers during the early games Sunday.  They were seeing 64% of the cash so far.

At Circa, the line was a PICK'EM much of the week before shifting to Seahawks -1.5.  BetOnline followed a similar pattern.  Bookmaker did offer the line at Seattle -2 for close to a 24 hour period Thursday afternoon into Friday.  DraftKings had the number at -2 late Sunday.

Seattle is 2-1 both Straight Up and Against The Spread.  The Giants have one win but no covers as of yet.

In this limited series, the Seahawks and Giants each had a win in Seattle since 2020.

Sagarin indicates the line should be Seattle -3.5 and that would mean a 2 point or greater underlay.

How Not to Get Killed as a Bookie

The AcePerHead website charges a small fee per customer per week and you as the bookie will be provided a customized website for players, in-house oddsmakers (they don't source out), customized prop builders, full reporting, 24-7 customer service, a variety of payment options and a FREE WEEK each month.

The live in-play wagering feature along with a vast number of player/game prop and parlay options plus a live dealer online casino help provide a cushion for when things don't quite go as planned, such as the Seahawks easily covering the Week 3 spread against Carolina.

With the Seahawks up 2-1 Against the Spread, Seattle area bookies will want to have other product options available.

vs. the Panthers Week 3

The Seahawks had around 64% of the love in their home game against the Panthers this week at closing.

That percentage was 33% when Seattle came in at -5.5.  Dropping the number a half point to get more money on the Seahawks did the trick overnight Saturday right up until game time Sunday morning.

Books across the board ultimately closed at Seattle -4.5 (4 pm ET) and shifted much of the action that team's way.  Bookmaker even flirted with the 4 the hour prior to game time.   Recreational books Bovada and BetUS similarly closed at -4.5.  BetUS had the number at -6 much of the week.

Seattle would go on to win by ten points: 37-27.

The Seahawks bets were close to $1 million while Carolina was around the $600K mark on the spread.

This would go down as a victory for the betting public.  It did seem pretty obvious the books wanted us to place our money on the Seahawks and that proved to be a big mistake as the wagering public did just that all day Sunday.
