HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Poker tournament action returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. with Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicking off on Wednesday, April 3 with the $400 Deep Stack series opener featuring a $1 Million Guaranteed prize pool.

As a main stop for the World Poker Tour (WPT), the tournament will culminate with the $3,500 WPT Poker Showdown Championship starting on Friday, April 19. The championship event boasts a $3 Million Guarantee. The final six players of the championship will reconvene in May in Las Vegas for a televised final table.

Other highlight events in this year’s Poker Showdown schedule include:

  •     $200 Big Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $200,000 Guaranteed, Monday, April 8 – Wednesday, April 10
  •     $2,200 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $200,000 Guaranteed, Wednesday, April 17 – Thursday, April 18
  •     $10,000 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry) $1 Million Guaranteed, Sunday, April 21 – Monday, April 22
  •     $25,500 High-Roller NLH (Re-Entry) $1 Million Guaranteed, Monday, April 22 – Tuesday, April 23
  •     $5,000 Deep Stack Eight Handed NLH (Re-Entry) $250,000 Guaranteed, Tuesday, April 23

Last year’s Poker Showdown saw Bin Weng win the WPT Poker Showdown Championship for more than $1 million besting a field of 2,290 entries.
