OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (Gambling911.com) - As of October 28, 2026, there is no credible report that Saquon Barkley has requested a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles. In fact, his latest public comments suggest he wants to remain in Philadelphia and help turn the season around. Following Philadelphia's 38–21 loss to Dallas on Monday, Barkley urged teammates not to give up despite the Eagles falling to 2–5.
"I believe we are gonna turn this around, and no one can tell me anything else."
Philadelphia has lost five consecutive games, raising questions about whether management will sell veteran players before the November 10 trade deadline.
ESPN's Dan Graziano has discussed the possibility of Philadelphia trading Barkley
"(A) He's clearly injured right now, even though he tried playing through it Monday night, and (B) he's a running back who turns 30 in February and is due to make $16M in 2027 and $19.2M in 2028," Graziano wrote about Barkley. "As of now, the only guarantee of that future money is $2.5M in 2027. If Barkley shows he's healthy in the next couple of weeks, it's possible a team would take a shot on him as the potential answer to its run game issues."
