Sherrod Brown -200 Favorite to Win Ohio Senate as Jon Husted Payout Odds at $160

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Gambling911.com) - Ohio, Democratic former Sen. Sherrod Brown is currently favored to win that state's senate race come November as the current sitting senator, Jon Husted, looks to be in some serious trouble.

Husted promises a payout of $160 for every $100 bet should he win the Midterm election.

Brown holds a 6-point lead among likely voters over Husted, a Republican former lieutenant governor who was appointed to fill the seat vacated by Vice President JD Vance.

Brown's -200 price at BetOnline is slightly less than the 70 to 75% estimate win percentage that a 6-point lead would represent, which would be more in the neighborhood of -233 to -300.

According to new CNN polls conducted by SSRS, Brown is more widely known and better liked than Husted, and voters on both sides of the contest say their decision is more about Brown than it is about Husted.

Nearly half of likely voters see Brown’s views and policies as about right ideologically, while 43% call him too liberal. Fewer are satisfied with Husted’s positions – 42% call his views and policies about right, 40% say he’s too conservative and 16% not conservative enough.
