Should bettors back Bryce Miller of the Seattle Mariners in today's game?  Let's take a thorough look below.

Vs. White Sox

(Sunday June 18, 2023) - Bryce Miller takes to the mound for Seattle where he faces off against a White Sox team with the 4th worst Weighted On Base Average (wOBA) against right-handers.  The Mariners were priced as low as -150 Sunday morning.

Miller (4-3, 4.06 ERA) rebounded from a two game skid by racking up six strikeouts over six innings of one-run baseball versus the Marlins his last start.

The Mariners are 13-3 in their last 16 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30.

Lance Lynn (4-7, 6.75 ERA) surrendered five runs -- four earned -- in five-plus innings Tuesday in a loss to the Dodgers.  He is without a win in his last three starts.

He's allowed just 16 hits in 80 at bats versus Mariners hitters (.200).  None of those were home runs.

The White Sox come into this game 10 under the .500 mark and winning just 40% of their recent games.  Seattle is playing .500 ball pretty consistently.

Five of the last six have stayed UNDER the current total of 8.

Do take Seattle -150 here.

vs. Marlins

(June 12, 2023) - Miller had his start pushed from Sunday to Monday where he will face a Miami Marlins team that is ninth-worst wOBA against righties.  Seattle is coming in as the -120 favorite in this one.

Miller (3-3, 4.46 ERA) is also coming off some poor outings and is looking to rebound following the two losses.  Miller was lit up for seven runs in 2 1/3 innings by the Rangers and previous to that he was beat up badly by the Yankees, giving up eight runs on 11 hits in his 4 2/3 innings.

He will come into Monday's game with an added day of rest.

Jesus Luzardo (5-4, 3.79 ERA) shut out the Royals his last start. Prior to that he surrendered five runs in 5 1/3 innings and struck out eight versus the Padres.

The trend for him as of late has been win/loss/win/loss.

Do take the Mariners -120 here.
