Should I Bet the Kansas Jayhawks in College Football This Week?

The Jayhawks are for real in College Football.  They are among the season's biggest surprises thus far.  If you had the Jayhawks and the OVER 3 regular season wins in 2022, congrats!

Week 6 vs. TCU Horned Frogs

Kansas comes into Week 6 ranked number 19 in the nation following a 5-0 start.  They will face another undefeated team TCU.  Both teams have a perfect record Against The Spread as well.

It is the Jayhawks third consecutive sell out crowd so expect home field advantage to matter here. 

The power ratings once home field is tacked on still give us a number of 3.06 favoring Texas Christian. The actual line has gone from Horned Frogs -6.5 to -7. There is an overlay of 3.5 here.

There is one comparable game in this line range of 6.5 to 7 with a similar overlay.

Tennessee was a -6 / 6.5 / -7 favorite vs. Pittsburgh (primarily on 6.5 with brief periods on either 6 and 7 throughout the week).  Tennessee was the road favorite, just as TCU is here, and managed to cover with a 7-point victory.  But this was a close one. 

Texas Christian is 9-1 in the series.  The Jayhawks only win during this span was by a point.  TCU has only covered the current spread in half of the last ten meetings of this series.
