The 49ers vs. Cowboys betting line had San Francisco as a -4 road favorite at Bookmaker.eu.
Nearly 70% of those betting this game were backing the 49ers and that does make sense considering 9-1-1 Against The Spread in their last eleven games as road favorites. Compare that to the Dallas Cowboys who are a dismal 1-7 Straight Up in their last eight games as a home underdog. Dallas is 6-13 ATS in its last 19 games at home.
The 49ers also 8-2-1 ATS in their last eleven season openers, though Dallas has managed to go 6-1 over the past seven years in Week 1.
