The Mariners have won nine of the last ten meetings versus Tampa Bay. The Mariners swept the Rays in Seattle last weekend while holding Tampa Bay to five runs.  Seattle is also 11-2 in their last 13 games following a loss.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Mariners RH Mike Leake (5-3, 4.71 ERA) vs. Rays RH Ryne Stanek (1-1, 3.65)

Leake allowed two runs and six hits over seven innings against Tampa Bay on Friday but didn't get a victory because closer Edwin Diaz blew the save in the ninth inning. The 30-year-old Leake is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA in three career starts against the Rays.  Carlos Gomez is 8-for-20 with one home run against him however.

The Mariners are 5-1 in Leakes last 6 road starts.

The Rays are 3-5 when opening with a reliever as Stanek will start a game for the third time under the unique approach.

The UNDER is 12-4 in Seattle’s last 16 overall.
