The Miami Marlins should be a good bet today at -126 (though we have seen a handful of books offering -124) with Jarred Cosart starting.

Jarred Cosart is 10-2 against the money line after 3 or more consecutive losses since 1997.  He is 3-0 when starting against Atlanta with an ERA of 1.66 and a WHIP of 1.015.

The Marlins are 5-0 in Cosart’s last 5 starts vs. National League East despite a rough outing the other day vs. the Mets.  They are 5-1 in Cosart’s last 6 starts.

Atlanta is 2-7 in the last 9 meetings, having just won the last two.  The Braves are 11-41 in their last 52 road games.

We would be remiss in pointing out that Braves RH Jhoulys Chacin (0-0, 0.00 ERA) was superior in six scoreless innings the other day against Washington.
