You can bet the Mariners-Astros series Monday through Wednesday. On Monday, Collin McHugh starts for Houston. He’s allowed a mere 38 hits on 188 at bats versus this Mariners roster.
Hisashi Iwakuma, on the other hand, has permitted 41 hits off of 129 at bats.
Houston has won eight of the last ten games in this series and McHugh has allowed two or fewer runs in three straight starts, all of which were victories while Iwakuma is coming off a bad loss.
It should also be noted that Felix Hernandez, starting for Seattle on Tuesday, has also had a tough time against Houston batters, allowing 23 hits off of 76 at bats.
