Gambling911.com has your Braves vs. Blue Jays betting picks and DFS plays for April 19. Best DFS Picks: Josh Donaldson, Freddie Freeman, Russell Martin

Best Bets: OVER 8.5

Best DFS Picks: Josh Donaldson, Freddie Freeman, Russell Martin

PITCHING MATCHUP: Braves RH Shelby Miller (1-0, 0.90 ERA) vs. Blue Jays LH Daniel Norris (1-0, 4.22)

Betting Line:  Toronto -173, Atlanta +160, Total: 8.5

This series has gone OVER the current total in six of the last seven meetings.

Miller pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout for St. Louis in his only career appearance against Toronto on June 7, 2014 at Rogers Centre.

Norris has limited opponents to 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position.

The problem here is that Toronto has recorded five runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings against Atlanta’s bullpen and both starters may be a bit looser having started the season at 1-0 apiece.

Toronto’s Josh Donaldson is 11-for-21 with three homers and seven RBIs in his past five contests after starting the season 5-for-26.  He is 1-for-1 against Miller.

Russell Martin is 5-for-16 against Miller with two home runs.

Atlanta 1B Freddie Freeman has homered in each of the first two games of the series, and has four homers in his past seven games.

Few on the Braves current roster have fared well against Norris, and priced at $5.8K he does make for an attractive secondary pitcher.
