Bucs Offense Takes a Hit
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been better than expected on offense so far this season although that is not saying much as they are still averaging only 20 points per game. The offense could take a step back as tight end
Austin Seferian-Jenkins will miss at least the next month. He is leading the Tampa Bay offense with seven catches for 139 yards and two TDs. The Bucs have a rookie quarterback in Jameis Winston who relies heavily on the tight end and he may struggle to find his safety valve in the next month.
Foster Probably Out Again for Texans
The Houston Texans have been awful running the ball this season and they probably won’t have Arian Foster on Sunday. Head coach Bill O’Brien said that Foster is listed as day-to-day but he didn’t think he would play in this game. Alfred Blue, Chris Polk and Jonathan Grimes have taken his snaps and done very little. Polk leads the Texans in rushing with 19 carries for 60 yards. No running back has a TD this season for Houston. The running back position, that’s the way it’s going to be,” O’Brien said. “We’re going to rotate guys in and out of there, different guys for different schemes, different personnel groupings, things like that. I think the offensive line has played a little bit inconsistent, but at times they’ve looked really good. There’s been some yards out there that maybe we’ve missed.”
