In reality, Haren played no roll in that free for all. He had held Tampa Bay to a one-score home run before being relieved at the top of the 7th inning. His departure was followed by the Rays scoring 7 runs in that inning.
Jason Vargas and Tim Lincecum were two other hot pitchers we threw your way last night and both came through with flying colors. Only Vargas ended up with a win despite all three starters having solid efforts.
Today we will look at Michael Wacha $7.9K of St. Louis, Dillon Gee $6.8K of the Mets and Ubaldo Jiminez $6.2K of the Orioles.
