St. Louis -140 – We found this to be the best price since a number of online sportsbooks were closer to -150.  This particular line could be found at Sportsbook.com

St. Louis was good to us as an underdog in Cincinnati yesterday.  Tonight they take on the LA Dodgers and Zach Greinke, who has enjoyed some degree of success against the Cardinals in the past with a 7-4 record against them and an ERA of 3.62 and a WHIP of 1.249.

The Cards, however, are 6-2 in Adam Wainwright’s last 8 starts vs. LA while St. Louis is 7-3 in their last 10 meetings with the Dodgers.

St. Louis bats have been on fire in their most recent games while the Dodgers just completed a four-game sweep of the lowly Chicago Cubs.

Detroit -118 – Detroit is riding an 8-game winning streak and arrive into Cleveland as a slight favorite against a team they have dominated in recent times.  The Tigers are 5-1 at Cleveland this season, outscoring the Indians 42-23.  Detroit is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings.

Anibal Sanchez (9-7, 2.59 ERA) has permitted fewer than two runs in four of his five starts since coming off the disabled list and allowed five home runs all season.  He is 3-1 when starting against Cleveland with an ERA of 1.76 and a WHIP of 1.141.
