Close but no cigar as we attempted to climb over the .500 mark with our Baseball picks.

Current MLB Record: 22-23 (48.9%)

Current NBA Record: 12-4-1 (75%)

We lost with the Angels playing in Boston.  It appeared, after the Red Sox hit a number of runs, that we might be able to catch up.  But that was not to be.

Boston (54-27) moved into first place in the AL East, a half-game ahead of the rival New York Yankees. After finishing their series with the Angels on Thursday night, the Red Sox play three games at Yankee Stadium this weekend.

The homer by J.D. Martinez capped a six-run second for the Red Sox, who won for the fifth time in six games.

Boston area bookies will be in desperate need of a proven Pay Per Head software platform as a means of cutting down on losses.
