The Chicago Bears are going to be facing an interesting Detroit Lions team this week in the NFL, but there are a few key players that you’re going to want to keep your eye on overall, as this is going to turn into a slug fest.

Current line: Chicago Bears +3/ Over & Under at 48

Time:  Sunday, Nov. 10, 1:00 pm (EST) FOX

The Bears are coming off a serious win over the Packers on the road, and will most likely showcase an interesting approach against the Lions. The Bears, led by Jay Cutler is questionable, and if healthy will definitely lead the team, but it’s Josh McCown’s last two starts that has many analysts assuming that the backup will start this game off and lead the game through a solid performance again. Meanwhile, the Lions are surprising a lot of different analysts right now and are on pace to get into the record books and possibly the post season. Calvin Johnson, Matthew Stafford and the crew are definitely going to become major factors in this game, and of course, who can forget about Reggie Bush. Look for the run game to open up some nice passes throughout this one as the Bears defense focuses on containment and lets a few slip up here and there due to fatigue.

The Bears usually have a good defensive side, but they are not on par with their averages this time around, and will likely face off against a Lions offense that is surging right now. If Bush gets an open lane, watch him get another hunded or so yards rushing.

The Match Up:

The Chicago Bears have major upside here, but they have some variables that are getting them a bit of a negative reaction. Should you put money on them? Well, it all depends on how solid the Lions are right now and it’s not exactly 100% certain that they are all together healthy. Even with Cutler questionable for the game, the Bears may have a power play that will get them the win. The Lions are good, they are favored, but the Bears have a little bit of momentum on their side, enough to carry them to a serious win over the Detroit squad. Look for Chicago to tighten up and win at +3.

The Edge:

Chicago Bears +3
