Magic vs. Heat Betting Odds – Miami a Sick 12-1-1 Against Spread

With the Magic vs. Heat betting odds coming in at -8.5 to -9 Monday favoring Miami, the home favorites are looking to start another hot streak after Philadelphia ended theirs at 13 wins in a row.

The Heat is On

Miami had covered in all but one of those 13 wins, and that lone game turned out to be a push at most books.

How has Miami been at beating Orlando by 9 points or more?

The Heat have mostly dominated the series in recent years, winning seven of ten games.

Miami has won three of their last four home games against Orlando with the last meeting resulting in an overtime loss.

While their last three wins against Orlando have indeed gone above the current spread, previous meetings tended to be close when Miami was on the winning end.

Orlando comes into this game having lost four straight.  Three of those were blowouts with another loss by a single point.  They’ve only won two games in ten.

One would expect the Magic to play this one close.  The Heat require a $42 bet to win $10 on the money line (the $42 is of course refunded with a win).
