Cardinals -139 (BetOnline.ag) - PITCHING MATCHUP: Pirates RH Vance Worley (2-2, 4.50 ERA) vs. Cardinals RH Michael Wacha (4-0, 2.42)

Wacha had allowed one run and five hits in each of his first three turns. Wacha is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in three career games (two starts) against Pittsburgh.

St. Louis has won the last five in this series and are 40-14 in their last 54 home games.  The Cardinals are 16-5 in their last 21 overall.

Worley has not fared well in three career starts against St. Louis, allowing a total of nine runs, 24 hits and five walks in 16 1/3 innings.

Ian Kinsler is 14-for-42 with a home run in his career against Royals RH Jeremy Guthrie (1-1, 5.87).

Carlos Gonzalez and Nolan Arenado, are a combined 10-for-19 with three home runs against Padres RH James Shields (2-0, 2.90).
