The Chicago Cubs are seeing good action from the betting public at a better than 90% clip as a -144 favorite in Cincinnati.

The Reds are 29-45 on the season but have won their last seven and definitely showing some improvement.  They won yesterday to kick off this series and have split the last ten meetings wins with Chicago.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Cubs LH Jose Quintana (6-5, 4.06 ERA) vs. Reds RH Luis Castillo (4-8, 5.77)

Quintana has allowed two runs or fewer in four straight starts and five of his last six, but he’s winless in his last three outings.   He is 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA in three career meetings.

Castillo has lost his last four starts and posted a 6.97 ERA over that span. Castillo pitched well against the Cubs in the first game of a May 19 doubleheader, allowing one run over five innings in a no-decision.

This one goes to the Reds +130.
