For Maryland and Florida State University, this week poses a lot of questions, some that are not going to be easily answered. In fact, the two teams have a lot of things to worry about as they head into this week’s match up.

Free Prediction Given by SportsCashSystem.com lead handicapper, Mike Taylor

Current line: Florida State – 14 ½  / Over & Under at 47

Time:  Saturday, October 5, 12:00 pm (EST) ESPN, Watchespn.com

First and foremost, if FSU plays like they did against Boston College, this is going to be awful for them. They let Boston run up 34 points last week, and are not the defensive powerhouse that some analysts had expected early on in the season. Florida has to make adjustments and they have to do them now. Meanwhile, Maryland is not a team that is going to roll over and let anyone pummel them, which means that the FSU defense has to get on the attack and has to make sure that they play a very physical form of football.

Stefon Diggs will be the wildcard player to watch here, and if he gets the ball and runs back a few on special teams, things are going to be great for the Maryland offense. Meanwhile, Florida State has to make sure that they are containing the Maryland’s explosive offense, which can definitely score bit, even if some teams don’t really think they can muster up serious shots.

The Match Up:

This game is going to be a good one to watch, as there are going to be a lot of points scored. You’ll find that Maryland will be rolling through here at the start, but it will be Florida State that edges out a victory. Look for them to adjust and play very well against Maryland, even though they had their problems last week. The first half will be a shootout, but after the half way point, the game should settle into a Florida State win, that is if they play well. Maryland is not an easy team to beat, as they can really get to the football fast, and hard. Watch for them to surge, but still lose out on this one. Florida is strong – 14 ½.

The Edge:

Florida State – 14 ½

SportsCashSystem.com Prediction: Florida State – 14 ½
