New England Patriots -10 – The line on this one opened at -10 and has moved up to -10.5 at some books. The Patriots were the most wagered on side coming into Week 5. No books have moved the line to -11 in an effort to get more action on the Browns. Among the time tested proven strategies when it comes to betting is knowing how strong an opinion is on a particular game by the bookmakers and here there is little doubt they believe Cleveland is going to cover. Philadelphia Eagles -3.5 – How about them Eagles, undefeated heading into Week 5 4-0 both outright and Against The Spread. They were seeing close to 80 percent of the action playing in Detroit and are the second most wagered on side for NFL Football Week 5. Most books did open at -2 Philadelphia and have moved up a point-and-a-half with oddsmakers attempting unsuccessfully to drive action the Lions way. Since 2012, Detroit has beaten Philly in two of three games. Bookies do not have a strong opinion on this game but we would give the Eagles a 55 percent chance of winning here based on the line movement and action ratio.
Cincinnati Bengals +2.5 - This game opened as a PICK’EM and has since climbed to Dallas -2.5 at some books, -1.5 at others. One of the great tips we offer in this situation is to bet both sides (Bengals +2.5 at one book, Cowboys -1.5 at another) in hopes that Dallas wins by exactly 2 points so you win both your bets. The bookmakers are working hard to getting everyone betting on the Bengals here, and they are at a 75 percent clip. Dallas wins this one and we are giving this an 80 percent likelihood.
