The Philadelphia Eagles had odds of winning the NFC East at +125, or a $100 bet would pay out $125.

Their regular schedule on paper looks a bit brutal when one considers they face every team from the NFC West and AFC South, and the first-place finishers from the NFC North and NFC South.  Otherwise, they will only play in five games where their opponent went on to appear in the 2014 playoffs.

The Eagles are the only NFC East team that have seen their odds improve since opening earlier in the year.  They have the 10th shortest odds in the league to do so.

They are a favorite to win OVER 9 regular season games at -130.

The Sportingbet Linesmakers offered up this early prediction on the Eagles division chances:

A 1-3 or 3-5 start like last season seems improbable. It's natural for a team to struggle early with a first-year coach, but they sure became a family quickly. Cutting DeSean Jackson in the offseason sent a clear message to everyone in the locker room – and one they all respected. Look for them to win the division again with 10 or 11 wins and be a threat to challenge San Francisco and Seattle for the NFC title.
