Pittsburgh will come into this game 9-4 versus Detroit while the visitor in this series has won the last five.  The Pirates are also 12-3 in their last 15 interleague games.

Jonathon Niese will be priced around $6500 Monday facing off against Detroit.  Niese has limited experience versus the Tigers though Justin Upton has managed to go 9-for-26 against him.  Fortunately for Niese, Upton is off to a less-than-stellar start.

Daily Fantasy players will want to avoid Jonathan Verlander (priced around $9K) this day.  The Tigers are 3-8 in Verlander’s last 11 home starts albeit he’s been pretty good in interleague games with his team going 25-8 during his last 33 interleague starts.
