We got clobbered in our two earlier game picks, so hoping for a little redemption with the Rays vs. Blue Jays game this evening.  There are only four games going off this evening starting at 7 pm EST.

Best Bet: Tampa Bay -108

Best DFS Picks: Jose Reyes, Josh Donaldson, Desmond Jennings

PITCHING MATCHUP: Rays RP Chris Archer (1-1, 2.13 ERA) vs. Jays RP Aaron Sanchez (0-1, 8.10)

Betting Lines: Toronto -102, Tampa Bay -108, Total: 8.5

The visiting team has won 8 of the last 10 in this series with Tampa Bay 9-1 in Archer’s last 10 road starts.  Tampa Bay has won 3 of the last 4 games in this series and 2 of the last 6.

The last two starts featuring Archer resulted in an OVER using the current total.  11 runs were scored in both those games.

Two of Toronto’s top sluggers have struggled against Archer: Juan Bautista (.095) and Edwin Encarnacion (.190).  In the case of Encarnacion, he is 0-for-12 with two strikeouts in the series.

Tampa Bay starters had allowed just five earned runs over the past 38 innings prior to their last game.

Jose Reyes (Toronto) – He is 9-for-20 against the Rays Chris Archer.  Reyes had one RBI as part of the Blue Jays 12-7 victory.

Josh Donaldson's (Toronto) - hot hitting continued as he went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and he's 5-for-9 in his last two games.

Desmond Jennings  (Tampa Bay) - He has reached base safely in each of his last 15 games dating back to last season.
