Despite the high total of 9, Gambling911.com will be all over the total for this Red Sox vs. Blue Jays series game on Sunday May 10.  We are on the UNDER 9 here.

The pitching matchup consists of R.A Dickey vs. Clay Buchholz and both have had their problems with some of the opposing club’s top batters.

Dickey held the Yankees to one run on three hits over eight innings in a winning effort Monday night to record his first victory of the season.

Outside of that effort, he has permitted 9 hits in his two previous starts, including a game at Boston in which he allowed four runs.

Xander Bogaerts is 7-for-14 against Dickey with 4 RBIs.  He went 1-for-3 in his last appearance against Dickey.

Buchholz, meanwhile, has given up 6 or more hits in four of his six starts this season, including 5 runs against Toronto a few days back.  That one translated into an 8-11 loss.

Buchholz previous two starts against Toronto last year resulted in 2 and 3 runs recorded, respectively.  One of those games Buchholz managed to pitch 8.1 innings. He’s due for an improved game here and that should keep this one UNDER 9.

The good news for Buchholz is that Ryan Goins hasn’t had any hits against Boston in this series thus far despite 7 at bats.

The bad news for Buchholz is that the Blue Jays leftie has gone 7-for-14 against him.  That includes one double, one triple and four RBIs.
