While we here at Gambling911.com are not quite prepared to bet on Houston at +130, there is every reason NOT to bet on the Yankees Thursday night.  Based on what we have seen thus far, it might be wise to wager against the Yankees over the next week.

As big public favorites, the Yankees have lost their last two games against Houston this week.

The Yankees Ivan Nova is 1-8 against the money line when playing on Thursday since 1997.

This is a retooled Houston team that appears to have some pretty solid pitching against a Yankees team that simply hasn’t gotten the job done this week.

Houston starters have combined for 11 2/3 scoreless innings and four different hitters have gone deep.

The Astros Brett Oberholtzer was one of the bright spots in Houston's 2013 campaign, posting a 2.24 ERA in 10 starts.

The Yankees are 1-6 in their last 7 games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15.

The Astros are 11-4 in their last 15 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
