UCF vs. Houston Point Spread, Prediction
The UCF vs. Houston point spread had the Cougars as a -3.5 favorite after opening at -1.5. This line has crossed over the dreaded number 3 and was now seeing balanced action.
UCF did beat Houston by 5 points last season. The two schools hadn’t met prior to this since 2010.
This Knights team is not the same group that won the Fiesta Bowl last season. In fact, they are averaging 25 points per game while allowing about 24 per contest. That’s not good.
The Houston Cougars are averaging just over 31 points per game while allowing just over 18 per contest.
The folks at BetDSI.com seem to think Houston can crush UCF and moving the line past the number 3 certainly shows a confidence level there.
Houston Wide receiver Deontay Greenberry doesn’t even think this Thursday night game will be close.
"Last year, to me, in my opinion, they weren't that good,” Greenberry said. “They happened to overcome [and] come up with the W. We don't really expect this game to be close to be honest with you.”
