This week in NFL action, it’s going to be a fascinating turn of events if the same Dallas team plays the Redskins like they did against the Broncos. It’s fresh in everyone’s mind right now, and it will be something that everyone will be talking about through the first quarter of this match up.

The Cowboys have a resurgence of fans right now, and something that has been talked about at nauseum. They put on a show this weekend, and although they didn’t win, they went toe to toe, shot for shot, against the best Broncos team we’ve seen since John Elway was at the helm there. Denver may have won the game, but it wasn’t without the Dallas Cowboys landing everything they could possibly get through. This week, they will need to face off against a Redskins team that may not be so easy to handle, and that’s something that is going to be interesting watch.
RGIII is still the topic of debate. He hasn’t shown up like he did last season and for that reason many are thinking that this game could end up going to show that he still has a lot of upside. It’s with that in mind that analysts are wondering if the rest will be enough to regain a certain sense of confidence. He’ll need to be perfect against a Dallas team that is hungry for a win. The Redskins will be looking to improve their running game in order to move ahead of the Dallas defense. Without establishing this early on, they are going to have a long road ahead of them this week.
The Match Up:
500 yards against Denver is impressive, and Tony Romo is looking to not only put up amazing numbers this time around, he will be looking to win big. The Cowboys need to send a message here, and they will be doing so by going out hard. The first quarter of the Denver game, the Dallas elite were up 14 – 0 at one point, and that’s what you should expect. Washington has had some time to improve, but they have such a hard task here, that they are not going to win at the expense of a Cowboys team that is very well rounded. It will be interesting to see whether or not they can make the right adjustments, but overall, they just don’t have what it takes.
