The following 2008 Week 2 NFL predictions are being offered up on each of the games scheduled for Sunday and Monday night.

Oakland vs. Kansas City - We didn't' think this would be a heavily bet on game online, yet it is and approximately 70 percent of the action was on the Chiefs and even heavier action on the KC money line. This one opened at Kansas City -4 at most online sports books. The line has since dropped to -3 ½ and as much as -3 at some websites. betED.com still had this one at -4. Bookmaker.com had the line at -3. Gambling911.com believes the Kansas City line should be -7 and the Chiefs should be able to cover here.

Green Bay vs. Detroit - The steadiest line out there. This one opened at Green Bay -3 as the road favorite and has not moved off that number, despite the fact that more than 93 percent of action is coming in on the Packers. The Green Bay line should be set at -5 to -5 ½. The bookies have a strong opinion here that Detroit is going to cover. The Packers have dominated in this series the last four games and we don't see that changing here. Bookies win big if Detroit comes through and covers. We do not think that they will however, but this is a tough one.

Tennessee vs. Cincinnati - The line opened at a pick or Cincinnati -1. There has been little movement. The action has been relatively even on both sides. Gambling911.com has Tennessee with a slight edge here.

Chicago vs. Carolina - Yet another line that has not moved off the number 3. There have been a few 3 ½'s. Carolina is the home favorite. The action is relatively balanced. Gambling911.com believes it is the Bears that should be favored by 1 point here.

Buffalo vs. Jacksonville - This one opened -6 Jacksonville. The line has since moved down to -4 ½. Sports Interaction has the Jacksonville line at -4 for all you Canadians out there. Sportsbook.com had this one Jaguars -5. More than 75 percent of the action was going the Bills way, but there was much heavier action during the previous days so there are signs that things are evening out a bit here with the line coming down slightly. Alas, we believe sports books might take a bit of a hit here. We have Jacksonville with a 5 ½ point advantage in this one.

New Orleans vs. Washington - The line opened here at Redskins -1 and has since shifted to New Orleans as the 1 point favorite. This is a very heavily bet on game with all the money going the Saints way. Our 2008 Week 2 NFL Predictions include Washington winning this one. We feel the line should favor them closer to -5.

Indianapolis vs. Minnesota - Another heavily bet on game with significant lopsided action on one side - that being on the Colts. This one opened at Indianapolis -2 at most online sports books. The line has moved down a bit to -1 and -1 ½. Sports Interaction still had the Vikings at +2 ½. Bookmaker.com had the Colts at -1. Hence, there is a middling opportunity if Indianapolis were to win by 2 points. And guess what? That's exactly where Gambling911.com has the line....at Indianapolis -2. 95 percent of the betting action is on the Colts but this one can go either way with the line pretty accurate. The books will be hoping for a Vikings cover to be sure.

New York Giants vs. St. Louis Rams - This one was getting plenty of action. It's pretty balanced though: 60/40 with gamblers leaning more towards the Giants. This one opened between -8 and -9 depending on the book. Sportingbet.com had this one at Giants -8 if you happen to live in Canada (US customers can't place bets at Sportingbet). betED.com had this at -9 (this is the place to bet the Rams +9). Most everywhere else we were looking at -8 ½. We have the Giants able to win by 10.

San Francisco vs. Seattle - This one opened around -9 for the Seahawks and has since moved down to -6 ½ at most of the online sports books. The action is balanced now. We suspect there were a lot more bets on the 49ers early on based on how this line dropped nearly 3 points. Gambling911.com has Seattle able to win this by double digits though.

Miami vs. Arizona - The line opened at Arizona -6 ½ and hasn't really moved much other than a half point to -7. There is slightly more action going the Cardinals way. Gambling911.com believes the line here should be Arizona -6 so we are leaning towards the Dolphins being able to cover.

Atlanta vs.. Tampa Bay - 75 percent of the action was on Atlanta at +7. This one opened as high as Tampa Bay -9. Nearly everyone had the line set at -7 now however. We have Tampa Bay able to win by no more than 5 so it looks to us like the Falcons can cover here.

New England vs. New York Jets - The Jets opened as -2 ½ favorites and the line has been brought down to -1. This game was being heavily bet on and the Patriots were getting more money. The action wasn't entirely lopsided though. New England should win here.

Baltimore vs. Houston has been postponed due to Hurricane Ike.

San Diego vs. Denver - This one opened around San Diego -2 and has since switched over to Denver -1. More than 70 percent of the action was going towards Denver. Interesting because Gambling911.com believes Denver should be the -1 ½ to -2 favorite and they will likely cover here.

Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland - Everyone is on Pittsburgh. The line opened at Steelers -6 and -6 ½ as the road favorite. More than 90 percent of the action was going Pittsburgh's way heading into Sunday. The books want a Cleveland cover. Gambling911.com believes The Browns can indeed cover since we had this line Pittsburgh -5.

Philadelphia vs. Dallas - This will likely be the most bet on NFL game of the week when all is said and done. The line has moved between Dallas -6 ½ and -7. This one also we see the line should be Dallas -5. The Eagles should be able to cover the 7 point line.
