The 2009 Conference Championships betting odds feature one game that is pretty well stabilized (Eagles at Cardinals) and another that now has a line that is all over the map (Ravens at Steelers).

After opening at Philadelphia Eagles -3, that line has pretty much settled in at -4 just about everywhere despite more than 70 percent of the betting public jumping all over the Eagles.

The Ravens vs. Steelers betting odds is an entirely different story.

betED.com as an example has the Steelers as -4 favorites.  The Ravens are +6 at more than 80 percent of the online sportsbooks though including BetUS.com.

Of course there is a middling opportunity if you believe the Steelers can win by 5 points.  For example, bet the Ravens at +6 at BetUS.com and the Steelers at -4 at betED.com.  That -4 line won't last much longer we don't think.

"Middling opportunities lower risk and the payout potential is huge," said Don Shapiro, sports writer for Gambling911.com.  "The problem with this scenario is that the odds of the game score landing on the number 5 are especially low."

And if the pundits at BetUS.com happen to be right, the Ravens might just walk off with the victory and none of this will matter at all.

Here is what they had to say about Baltimore's chances:

1. It's difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season.

2. Ravens rookie quarterback Joe Flacco is better now then he was when the Ravens met the Steelers during the regular season.

3. The Steelers best defensive player, Troy Polamalu, won't be 100% for this game.

4. Pittsburgh usually fails in AFC Conference Championship games.

We shall see.  This is going to be a great game as will the NFC Championship face off between Philadelphia and Arizona.
