2009 Super Bowl Predictions: Most Important Trends
Before you bet on this Sunday's Super Bowl, be sure to check out Gambling911.com's 2009 Super Bowl predictions. These feature some of the most important trends around.
We start off with Sports Interaction's Frank Doyle offering his prediction on which team will win the 2009 Super Bowl.
"The Steelers have the class, ability, talent and tradition to become the first team to win six Super Bowls, and to cover Sports Interaction's seven point spread while they're doing it," Doyle told Gambling911.com on Wednesday. "The thing that tilts the Super Bowl in favour of Pittsburgh is that the Steeler D is that much better than the Falcons, Panthers or Eagles. The Steelers don't need to bring a full blitz to put pressure on Warner, meaning that they can still cover Larry Fitzgerald properly - which means two guys never letting him out of their sight at any time for any reason, of course."
In addition to Frank Doyle's analysis and pick on this game, Gambling911.com had a few other 2009 Super Bowl predictions based on some fascinating past trends.
Play the OVER ARIZONA on the first half total when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season. Why? The Over is 11-1 in this scenario. The Over/Under at Sports Interaction was 23 ½.
The Over 46 ½ looks enticing as well when we consider both teams recent trends. The Over in the Steelers last 14 playoff games is 12-2 while the Over is 20-6 in the Cardinals last 26 games following an ATS win and 38-13 and 38-13 over the last 51 games as an underdog. Good stuff.
