2012 NHL Playoffs betting odds for April 12 were available at Bookmaker.eu here.  Today’s games include the Senators vs. Rangers, Capitals vs. Bruins, Sharks vs. Blues and Blackhawks vs. Coyotes.

In the Ottawa-New York series, the away team has won 9 of the last 10, however, the home team Senators won the last head-to-head.  Ottawa is also 4-1 in their last five meetings with New York.  They are 0-7 in their last 7 games as a favorite of -110 to -150.  Bookmaker had the Rangers as a -160 favorite here so there is certainly some value in betting on Ottawa.

San Jose vs. St. Louis featured a line of Blues -135.  St. Louis is 4-0 in this series.

The Sharks are 0-4 in their last 4 playoff games as an underdog of +110 to +150.  They are, however, 4-0 against Western Conference teams.

The favorite is 19-7 in the last 26 meetings.

Boston was a -200 favorite vs. Washington.  Interestingly enough, the Capitals are 3-1 in their last four meetings against the Bruins.

Phoenix was a -120 favorite vs. Chicago.  The Coyotes have won the last three in this series.  The Coyotes are 6-0 in their last 6 games as a favorite.
