2013 Belmont Stakes Weather Forecast Calls for Mud

With heavy rain in the forecast during the overnight hours, the 2013 Belmont Stakes track should be muddy and there are certain horses these types of conditions favor. Bet the Belmont Stakes here and you can claim up to $2500 in FREE CASH here

With rain ending shortly after dawn, the track could be deemed as “good” by post time, but “good” is still on the muddy side, favoring the likes of Orb, Golden Soul, Revolutionary and Freedom Child.  The main track is known for drying quickly.

"The worst thing would be a drying-out, holding track," said trainer Todd Pletcher, who has five horses entered.

So the weather during the race and the hours leading up to it won’t necessarily impact track conditions.  The overnight deluge will have lasting results.
