2015 Stanley Cup Betting Odds – Ducks Favored to Win

BetDSI.com has your 2015 Stanley Cup betting odds with the Anaheim Ducks favorites to win.

Ducks Proving Resilient

The Anaheim Ducks suffered one of the toughest losses a team can have in the playoffs as they dropped Game 2 at home in triple overtime. That loss would have crushed most teams but the Ducks rebounded to go on the road and win Game 3 in Chicago to take a 2-1 lead in the series and regain the home ice edge. "Sometimes in games like this, when you had a long game the game before, sometimes you have to dig down and gut it out," Ducks center Nate Thompson said. "This is that time of year."

Andersen Continues to Stand Tall

The Ducks are getting outstanding play from goaltender Frederik Andersen in goal. He stopped 27 of 28 shots in Game 3 and he has been great this entire series against Chicago. Andersen made 53 saves in the Game 2 loss. Andersen doesn’t get the spotlight but he has won 50 games in 68 decisions which tied an NHL record set back in 1944 by Bill Durnam. Andersen is a big goaltender at 6’4 and 230 pounds and he is proving to be very difficult for opposing teams to beat. “He’s a big goalie who’s going to battle on every shot. ... He seems to see everything that comes his way,” Chicago’s Patrick Kane said. The Ducks realize that Andersen is a big reason why they are winning. “He played great,” Anaheim forward Andrew Cogliano said, “He’s dialed-in right now. No one’s worried about him at all. I think he’s the reason why we’re playing this game really good right now.”
