Could this be an inflection point for hockey in the United States?
The 4 Nations Face-Off captivated sports fans in the US in a way that I can’t remember in my 54 years of life. I was too young in 1980 to understand the bigger picture.
Last night, it took overtime and a goal by the world’s best hockey player (Connor McDavid) for the Canadians to beat the United States in the finals.
Canada is slowly catching up to the United States in hoops, but the US may just have caught up to the Canadians in ice hockey.
This morning, the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag, opened up 2026 Men’s Olympic Hockey lines, and Canada is an ever so slight favorite.
