WagerWeb.com had the current odds for the Belmont Stakes 2012 June 9.  These were the late morning lines.

Union Rags was still listed at +250 with the potential for a $25 payout on every $10 bet or $250 on every $100 bet.  His odds were more than slashed in half since the scratching of I’ll Have Another 24 hours ago.  Rain was in the region late this morning but it remains to be seen whether the track conditions will improve by race time.  Union Rags is more than capable of running in the slop.  Forecasters were leaning more towards isolated storms during the afternoon.

Street Life was now at 8/1 odds.

Unstoppable U was at 20/1.

Atigun was at 22/1 odds with a strong team behind him that has many suggesting this could be the upset horse of the Belmont.  Gotta like those odds regardless

Dullahan would pay out $17.50 for every $10 bet. He was the favorite.

Ravelo’s Boy was at 40/1 odds.

Five Sixteen had odds of 50/1.

Guyana Star Dweej was at 50/1.

Paynter was the Bob Baffert trained horse that was viewed as a top contender at 4/1 odds.  His odds were slashed in half since I’ll Have Another was pulled out.

Optimizer was at 16/1 odds.

My Adonis was at 20/1 odds.

All bets can be placed at WagerWeb.com here.  Odds subject to change if not locked in.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
