NFL Division Playoffs Betting: Eagles vs. Giants

The running game could be the key determiner in the winner of Sunday's NFC Playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants.  Betting on the NFL Division Playoffs could be found at Sportsbook.com

Philadelphia will look to Brian Westbrook to carry them to a payday as four-point road underdogs while the New York Giants will put the ball in the hands of Brandon Jacobs.

And while each runner could lead their team to a victory, they could lead you to a payday when you bet on the Player to Score 1st TD prop. Remember, you can have your wager refunded with this week's Primetime Prop promotion.

The Giants started out the season at 11-1 and 10-2 against the spread. They were winning with good defense and quarterback play from Eli Manning, but mostly due to a three-headed rushing attack led Jacobs.

Then the Eagles came to town and shocked the Giants, winning 20-14, controlling the line of scrimmage and rushing for 140 yards to the Giants 88 yards. Jacobs hurt his knee in the third quarter of that game and missed the following week against Dallas, a 20-8 loss in Big D.

Jacobs came back in Week 16 for their big home win over Carolina and he claims he is healthier than at any time since Week 3. He'll have to be because the Giants will have a lot of trouble winning if they rely too much on a Manning passing attack that is without receiver Plaxico Burress.

And while Jacobs is the key man for New York, Westbrook is always the key for Philly. He is equally dangerous on the ground and receiving out of the backfield.

Last week against Minnesota in the Wild-Card game, Westbrook was limited to just 38 yards rushing against their great run defense, but he responded with 83 yards receiving, catching a short pass out of the backfield for a 71 yard TD. That play essentially put the game away.

A big game from Westbrook takes a lot of pressure off quarterback Donovan McNabb. McNabb threw for only 191 yards in the win in New York and only threw for 175 when they beat Dallas 44-6 in the last week of the regular season to make the playoffs.

Needing McNabb to throw for 300 yards to win this game is a recipe for disaster as he will likely turn the ball over against this opportunistic Giants' defense.

The oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com think Jacobs and Westbrook are two of the key players as well. Jacobs leads the Player to Score 1st TD prop at +400 odds and Westbrook is second at +600.

And the even better news is that our Primetime Prop provides a great insurance policy if case Jacobs or Westbrook do not score the first TD.

Primetime Prop: If a player scores at least two touchdowns and has at least 75 yards combined rushing & receiving in this game but does not score the game's first touchdown, wagers on that specific player in the ‘Player to Score 1st TD' prop will be refunded up to $100.00

Jacobs and Westbrook have each scored two or more TD's five times this year, and they are also great bets to over 75 ushing and receiving yards.

So make you sure you check out this and all of our Props this week which will add enjoyment and profits to an already exciting game.
