As we head into Saturday's 2008 Breeders' Cup Classic, Gambling911.com will be reviewing the latest odds on one of the year's hottest horse races. Comparison shopping is key for finding the best betting odds on the 2008 Breeders' Cup.

In doing so Friday night we looked at three Gambling911.com endorsed race books to determine which had the best payout odds for each horse.

Curlin - Pays 2/1 at Sportsbook.com. The obvious favorite. The two other books we looked at had Curlin with around half those odds. Sportsbook.com pays $200 for every $100 bet.

Casino Drive - Sports Interaction pays 7/1 odds or $700 for every $100 bet. We have seen Casino Drive listed at 6/1 elsewhere so you can actually win a $100 more at Sports Interaction, Canada's first online sports book.

Colonel John - Sports Interaction again has the best payout when looking for betting odds on the 2008 Breeders' Cup entry, Colonel John. A $100 bet pays out $1000 compared to as low as $600 elsewhere.

Duke of Marmalade - Pays $800 for every $100 bet at Sports Interaction

Go Between - Pays $800 for every $100 bet at Sports Interaction. We've seen this horse as low as 6/1 odds elsewhere.

Henrythenavigator - The payout would be higher at Sportsbook.com compared to other books. $700 for every $100 bet. We are seeing $600 elsewhere.

Raven's Pass - betED.com had this one paying $700 for every $100 bet. That seems relatively common across the board.

Now for some of the double digit horses that could prove to be huge upsets.

Champs Elysees - Payout is $3000 for every $100 bet at Sportsbook.com

Fairbanks $2500 is the payout on every $100 bet at betED.com compared to $2000 elsewhere.

Smooth Air - Pays $3000 at betED.com.

Student Council - We've seen this one as low as $1400 but the payout would be $2000 at Sports Interaction

Tiago Pays $2500 for every $100 bet compared to $1500 at some books.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
