The Boss will perform during this year's Super Bowl halftime show and our good friends at Sportsbook.com are offering betting odds on what the order of his halftime show play list will be.
Bruce Springsteen is widely regarded as one of the greatest performers of our time. Whether you are a fan or not, this is going to prove to be one of the most widely anticipated halftime shows.
With approximately 12 minutes playing time, expect no more than 4 tunes.
The Rising almost seems custom made for the Super Bowl so it shouldn't surprise anyone that this song appears in most of the Sportsbook.com odds offerings.
The favorite play list that has odds assigned to it is Playlist D: 1-Born in the USA 2-Thunder Road 3-Rosalita 4-My Lucky Day. This one actually does not include The Rising, so I'm thinking it probably won't be the one.
Sportsbook.com is also offering odds on Playlist H, which is essentially any other combination not listed. That might be a good bet. And the odds have some value as well. At -150, a $1.50 is required to win $1.00 (that $1.50 is paid back along with the $1.00 win ONLY if the bet is a winner). A $150 bet pays $100 and so on.
Aside from Radio Nowhere, which was one of the most recent releases, the most popular Springsteen downloads via iTunes are in this order: The Rising, Born in the USA, Dancing in the Dark and I'm on Fire. Born to Run was the 5th most downloaded track.
