The Georgia Bulldogs and Nebraska Cornhuskers are getting the majority of the support for New Year's Days two 1 pm College Bowl Games.  First we take a look at the Capital One betting odds.

Georgia is receiving 91 percent of the action despite being large 7 ½-point favorites over Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl.

Michigan State Spartans vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia began the 2008 season as the nation's #1 ranked team. Three losses later, the Bulldogs find themselves completely out of the BCS picture and in the Capital One Bowl against Michigan State. If head coach Mark Richt's team plays up to its capability, covering the 7 ½-point line shouldn't be a problem.

Coach Richt teams traditionally have been good away from home, 15-6 ATS playing against a team with 75% or higher win percentage. The Bulldogs are good 15-11 ATS in bowls, with Spartans 5-4 ATS as underdogs.

The Spartans were waxed 49-18 by Penn State in their finale, but that's good news for their backers on Thursday as coach Mark Dantonio teams are 9-1 ATS after a loss by 17 or more points.

Capital One Bowl Series Trend: The Big Ten has won four straight Capital One Bowl games, both outright and ATS, all as the underdog. Georgia is making its third appearance since 1993 and is 2-0 SU & ATS. Michigan State last played here in 2000, beating Florida 37-34 as a three-point dog.
