Daniel Cormier was coming in at +225.  Bet $10 and win $22.50. Stipe Miocic was the favorite at -255.  He requires a risk of $25.50 to win $10 with the $25.50 refunded assuming he wins.

UFC 226 is taking place at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas and Miocic is defending his heavyweight world title for the fourth time. Back in January, Miocic defended his world title for a record 3rd time against Francis Ngannou where he received a unanimous decision to retain his title.

According to Cormier’s head coach, Javier Mendez, his fighter should be mentioned alongside the greatest fighters of all time should he defeat Miocic at UFC 226 as the +225 dog.

“I think [Cormier] is in the GOAT discussion only because the other people that should be there are disqualified — by their doing or not their doing, they got disqualified,” Mendez said during a recent interview with Submission Radio (shown above). “So, to me, it’s a no-brainer as why he would be considered in that category. If you disqualify yourself, you disqualify yourself. Right or wrong, it doesn’t matter, you’re disqualified. So just from that point alone, a hundred percent he’s in the discussion in my opinion.”

Jon Rahm Surges at PGA Championship

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
