FIFA World Cup 2010 Draw Friday
The FIFA World Cup 2010 draw will take place this coming Friday, December 4, as the world waits with baited breath.
A global audience of at least 120 million is expected to tune in to find out who will play whom in the group stage of the first World Cup to be played in the African continent. The draw for the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany, Dec 2005 attracted a global television audience of 134.5 million and was shown live in 137 countries.
The FIFA World Cup 2010 draw will ultimately result in some changes in odds. NordicBet.com features odds to win the 2010 World Cup for much of the world to bet while BetCRIS.com offered odds for US gamblers.
The 32 nations will be drawn into eight groups of four with the top two in each group progressing to the knockout stages, beginning with a round of 16.
The 32 teams will be seeded in four pots to be confirmed, perhaps, as late as the eve of the draw itself. No more than two European nations can be drawn together in the group stages.
As an extra reward for signing up, when you make your first deposit with NordicBet you'll get a 100% bonus, up to €100!
