Gambling911.com has your Betting and DFS News Brief as of Noon EST Saturday.  If you bet sports, you will want to monitor the G911 Sports Betting section around the clock for the latest Wagering and Daily Fantasy Sports news updates.

Kevin Gausman Returns to Lineup for Orioles: Baltimore 2-6 vs. Toronto - Gausman is in the team's starting lineup. He has been on the disabled list since the start of May with a shoulder injury. Saturday's start will be his first of the year for the Orioles. He had made several relief appearances before the injury.

It’s actually a bit surprising that the red hot Blue Jays are a mere -113 favorite at home when they have gone 6-2 against the Orioles.  Gausman has gone 1-1 with a 3.78 ERA in seven games (two starts) against them.  Toronto starting pitcher Mark Buehrle has had trouble against a number of Baltimore starters historically.

Rangers 5-1 Versus White Sox and +126 Underdog – Despite their recent 5-1 success against the Chicago White Sox, Texas comes into their game in Chicago as a +126 underdog.  Texas is also 21-8 in their last 29 overall.

Rangers starter Nick Martinez settled down after a sluggish start to work seven strong innings before settling for a no-decision in his last outing against Minnesota on Sunday but struggled the last time facing the White Sox, giving up a season-high seven runs on nine hits in 3 1/3 innings en route to a 9-2 setback on June 3.

Carlos Rodon, on the other hand, allowed just one run while striking out a career-best 10 in six innings the last time he faced Texas.

The total for this game was set at 8.5 but this series has gone from one extreme to the other.  Only six runs have been scored in the last two meetings following two previous games in which a total of 28 runs were scored.

Washington’s Max Scherzer 1.41 ERA vs. Pirates

Daily Fantasy players will surely want to consider the tried and true Max Scherzer for their Fantasy roster today.  He’s allowed a mere 10 hits off of 71 at bats against the current Pirates roster.  Two of those were homers.  Five were RBIs.  He is 7-5 with a 1.93 ERA on the season thus far.  He has six victories in his last eight.  Granted, he’s going to cost you at close to $12000.
