German Grand Prix Betting Odds and Predictions‬

BetDSI.com has your German Grand Prix betting odds and predictions here.

Lewis Hamilton is the favorite and Nico Rosberg is the second choice in Sunday's German Grand Prix that can be seen on CNBC. It has been all Hamilton and Rosberg this season as Mercedes has dominated Formula One. It could very well be another Mercedes domination on Sunday but it is worth noting that Formula One made a change as they have banned FRIC systems for the rest of the season. Perhaps this is the week where a longshot is worth considering in F1 betting.

Here is a look at the race and F1 picks.

FRIC Ban

Formula One made a chance as they now are considering the Front and Rear Interconnected suspension a movable aerodynamic device which means any team that uses the system could be disqualified. No teams will want to take the chance so the FRIC systems have essentially been banned. Mercedes is said to have the best FRIC system so they could be affected the most. That doesn't mean Mercedes still won't win races because their advantage so far this season has been massive. Formula One may have made the change simply to make the racing more competitive as other teams may have been complaining about the unfair advantage Mercedes has.

Odds to Win German Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton -160

Nico Rosberg 2-1

Valtteri Bottas 18-1

Felipe Massa 20-1

Sebastian Vettel 25-1

Daniel Ricciardo 25-1

Fernando Alonso 40-1

Field 7.5-1

Race Notes

Last year it was Sebastian Vettel winning this race while Fernando Alonso won it in 2012. This year the race will be held at Hockenheim. It will be the 34th time the race has been run at Hockenheim. Four German drivers will be trying to win in front of their home fans, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Hulkenberg and Adrian Sutil.

F1 Picks

I am going against the favorite this week and taking Rosberg at odds of 2-1. And for the first time in a while I think a couple of longshots are worth a look. I will take Vettel at 25-1 and Alsono at 40-1.

Jon Rahm Surges at PGA Championship

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
