Honda Indy Toronto Betting Odds and Predictions

Honda Indy Toronto betting odds predictions are courtesy of BetDSI.com here.

Heading into the final third of the Verizon IndyCar Series there are quite a few drivers in contention for the championship. This weekend will be very important to the drivers as there are races on Saturday and Sunday in Toronto. Helio Castroneves is in first place with Will Power just 9 points back. Also in contention for the driver's title are Ryan Hunter-Reay, Simon Pagenaud and Juan Pablo Montoya. NBCSN will be televising the Honda Indy Toronto races on Saturday and Sunday.

Here is a look at the races and IndyCar picks.

Fight for the Title

The two leaders in the point's race, Castroneves and Power would seem to be in the best position but neither driver has every won a title. It could be that someone from behind could overtake the top two. Hunter-Reay gained a lot of ground last week with the win at Iowa. Hunter-Reay leads the series with three wins but he is still in third place in the standings. There are six races remaining this season with three on ovals and three on street courses.

Helio Castroneves

He has been the most consistent driver this season but has just one win. He has never won at Toronto and has five finishes of 16th or worse in seven starts so it is hard to like him this weekend.

Will Power

He has two wins this season and could be the man to beat. He just needs to stay out of trouble this weekend in Toronto.

Ryan Hunter-Reay

He is the man with momentum after last week's win and he has three wins on the season. If he could win one of the races this weekend he would really be in good shape.

The Rest

Simon Pagenaud could get firmly in the picture if he does well in Toronto. He was expected to do well in the races a year ago and then had a rotten weekend. Juan Pablo Montoya is just barely in the title hunt but it is hard to like his chances in Toronto where he has never done well.

IndyCar Picks

I will take Power to win this weekend and for my longshot I will go with Pagenaud.

Jon Rahm Surges at PGA Championship

Jon Rahm was going for his third major win at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He played great, proving he’s ready to be a top golfer again. After some ups and downs since joining LIV Golf in late 2023, Rahm shot an impressive 4-under 67 in the third round on Saturday. This strong round put him tied for fifth place, just five shots behind the leader, Scottie Scheffler.
