Jamahal Hill Barely Favored Over Jiri Prochazka

Jamahal Hill is UFC’s latest Light Heavyweight champion, but his reign may not last long if you respect the oddsmakers' opinion.

SportsBetting.ag set odds for a potential bout between Hill and Jiri Prochazka, and the latter isn’t much of an underdog.

Fight Odds

Jamahal Hill -125

Jiri Prochazka +105

The judges all scored the fight 50-44 as Hill claimed the unanimous decision.

“Where I came from to get to this, it’s unreal,” Hill said. “Anything’s possible. Hard work, dedication, accountability, don’t let nobody tell you nothing.

“Too many people tried to tell me I couldn’t do it. It was impossible. I needed to win in one round. I couldn’t go five [rounds] — what the f*** you got to say now?”

Hill also declared prior to his Saturday night win: I '1000%' want Jiri Prochazka fight ... after I win the belt!".

He spoke exclusively to TMZ this past week.

"From the consensus that I've been hearing a lot of, it's I 'don't deserve the title shot.' I think even Jiri said that which is crazy as hell to me because he only had like 2 wins and he got a title shot. That's weird, know what I'm saying?" Hill asked, making his point.

"Not just that, it's all love and all respect to Glover and everything like that, but at the same time, bro, if you lose your title and don't defend your title, why do you deserve a title shot? Why do you deserve an immediate rematch for a title shot? It's just funny."
